I’m not a fanatic of clubs, so you won’t find it on my list. Number one from places, where I like to drink in amazing, student Kraków, should be “FLATS”. I really love flat parties, maybe it’s some memory from childhood when my parents always did a big, full of food and drinks parties for family and friends in our (small) flats. Btw, they still do it, but at our house nowadays. Buuuuuut if you have to go out, there are also places thatI like – pubs, bars, outdoor space.
One more thing – in Poland it’s illegal to drink
alcohol in public. You can get fine from police because of it. Of course you
can hide, but still… There is one place where non-officially you can drink in
public in Krakow – because it’s university area. However it doesn’t mean that
police can’t catch you there because of fights or other things. But among
students it’s known as legal place for outdoor drinking. Where? See number one,
about I wrote the most, because it’s my fav, fav, fav place of all.
Well, it would be easier for you, if you learn Polish
name of this place. Okay, basically, what is that? A big open space, between student houses
(akademiki), where you have grass, benches, pitches and pizzeria. We call it “Miasteczko”
or “Grilloprzestrzeń” (Barbecure Area). It’s famous among students, because
when it get warmer, you can find there CROWDS, which are drinking, doing
barbecue, chatting, playing… It just have some atmosphere. Sometimes you can
hear music from student houses. Just next to it you have supermarket (open till
10 p.m. only, I think). So take your blankets, barbecue, alcohol and GO THERE!
3. Banialuka

Top two quotes on wall:
"Drinking vodka is introducing fairytale element to reality" - Jan Himilsbach
"In life nothing is for free, besides juice to beer in Banialuka" - Kinga S.
Yes, because in Poland we drink beer with addition of dense raspberry juice. For me, it's girly style, so I don't drink like this. Nope.
